Guest Teachers/Directors

We are thrilled to welcome Ray Gabbard to the Dramaworks team! Ray has been a musical theatre actor and he has performed most notably as Raoul in “Phantom of the Opera” and Jesus in “Whistle down the Wind”. He will be overseeing the final direction of the Wednesday groups and also the Saturday sessions on the 10th July. Julia and Ray will also work on our intensive summer Lamda courses in August, details in July’s newsletter. Julia is undertaking a long standing commitment to an expedition in South Africa for two weeks from 27th June to 11th July but will be back in time to produce the final showcase. We are also very fortunate to welcome Ashley Fenton who will oversee the Saturday session on the 3rd July. Ashley has also worked with Julia and she is currently Head of Drama at Guildford High School for Girls. Sian Pinder is extremely valuable member of our team and she has really developed her skills especially with the younger sessions and she will oversee the Monday sessions on the 1st and 8th July.
