These qualifications cover acting, verse and prose, communication and are an excellent way of building confidence as well as providing students with an academic qualification with no written paper. Endorsed by the highly esteemed London Academy, Dramaworks is delighted to be able to offer tuition from ages 6 upwards in our regular term time classes as an option.
We also offer Intensive holiday packages to boost UCAS points for 6th form students - a superb way to guarantee a university place whist having fun ! Coursse run at half term and at Easter and Summer.
The qualifications involve the delivery of pieces in front of a visiting examiner and a short interview on the context and background of the pieces. This background knowledge is essential gor success and uniquely, Dramaworks can offer this high level tuition at a very reasonable cost.

Holiday courses range from £50 to £80 for a whole day intensive teaching with two very accomplished teachers with a great deal of experience. One of our teachers, Ray Gabbard , is an ex Broadway actor and Julia Martin has over 15 years experience as Head of Drama in state and private schools. Students will be given two pieces and background notes as well as a range of practical strategies including speed learning techniques, physicalisation, voice and breath control and characterisation.
